Introduction to Executive Influence

Module 1

Fit for Leadership

Most of the leaders I coach are burned out, over whelmed, and have insufficient work-life balance. Due to the nature of their jobs they’ve developed poor nutrition, exercise, and mental health habits. Their social lives are subpar, they’ve had to give up hobbies, their home life is suffering, and they come to work exhausted. This impacts how they perform at work and how they influence their team. Shift poor health habits, balance out your life, and make Fit Happen!
Module 2

Lead with Purpose

When there is a misalignment between your values, strengths, and job role you are missing the mark on authentic leadership. When you are focused and grounded, using your natural talents, and leveraging your authentic style you’re a top-notch mentor and leader. Stop the craziness and be mindful of who you are as a person and who you want to be as a leader. Bridge that gap and start changing lives.
Module 3

Poise and Precision

In my corporate career I never met one leader who could manage their emotions in tense situations. They wore their emotions on their sleeves which impacted the way they negotiated, managed conflict, facilitated meetings, handled change, and managed teams. In these situations, it’s important to stay neutral and healthily detached from the outcome. The more you push, the more you’ll push your intended outcome away from you. Learn the key to maintaining emotional composure.
Module 4

Hear Me, See Me

As a leader it’s critical to not only present well to an audience, but to interact confidently with any person in any situation. This means when communicating in one to one engagements, small group discussions, formal meetings, and impromptu hallway interactions. Poor verbal and nonverbal communication will negatively impact your ability to influence others, the way you are perceived as a leader, and your career progression. You’re scrutinized constantly so make your visibility count!

Module 5

Connection and Charisma

Executive presence means different things to different people and many do not link it to personal branding. Before working on executive presence skills, you must first explore your own personal brand, how you are perceived, and how you want to be perceived. Only then can you move to the next step to develop executive presence skills. Tie these two concepts together to enhance your ability to engage and connect.
Module 6

Managing Time and Tasks

You might think you have good time management skills but are you really benefitting in the right way? Time management is more than just multitasking – it’s a strategic approach to planning and controlling your time in a mindful and thoughtful way. Not only do you want to be quick and efficient, but you also need to be thorough. Learn a method for controlling your time, setting boundaries, and ultimately improving customer relations.
Module 7

Become a Sought-After Change Agent

Change happens daily in your work environment and I know firsthand how stressful that can be. Not only do you need to embrace change, but you need to create it and you need to teach your team to do the same! That’s the only way to be innovative, creative, and stay ahead of your internal or external competition. Learn to lead the way by taking risks and disrupting the status quo.
Module 8

Fast Track Your Career

Ninety percent of the executives I coach have self-sabotaging behaviors that can be tied to something called Impostor Syndrome. They’ve never heard that term but, when given a checklist of characteristics, they can check off most or all of them. The resulting behaviors have sabotaged their career and impacted promotions. Learn how to accelerate your career by breaking this cycle.
